The TATA IPL 2025 Mega Auction is scheduled to take place on **November 24 and 25, 2024**, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will be a "mega auction," meaning franchises have the opportunity to rebuild their squads significantly, with larger budgets and greater flexibility in player retention.

### Key Details:

1. **Auction Purse**: Each franchise has been allocated a budget of **₹120 crore**, an increase from ₹100 crore in previous seasons. This will be used to bid on players during the auction after deducting the costs of retained players.

2. **Player Retentions**: Teams were allowed to retain a maximum of **six players** ahead of the auction. The retention can include a mix of capped and uncapped players, with capped players costing between ₹11 crore and ₹18 crore, and 

The auction's top base price is ₹2 crore, with star players like(( Jos Buttler)), ((Rishabh Pant)), ((Mitchell Starc)), and ((David Warner)) listed in this bracket. The player pool will include capped, uncapped, and international players, with each team limited to eight overseas players in their final squads.
